California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants
The California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants (CCBMA) has been administering the California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam since 1990. The exam is one of three that is recognized by the Medical Board of California.
California Medical Assistants Association
The California Medical Assistants Association (CMAA) is a professional organization for medical assistants in the state of California, and is dedicated to the advancement of continuing education for medical assistants.
American Association of Medical Assistants
The mission of the American Association of Medical Assistants is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants' right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).
National Student Nurses Association
